What’s in your hand cost me $3.37. I’m not great at asking for money, so I’ll just say most people do $10. The rest is up to you.
Man, you really should have just given it to me in-person.
I don’t know, mail it to me?
You can send me an apology.

but also no worries.
Polaroids are fragile little things. Keep it out of direct sunlight or it’ll fade into a memory of a memory. Don’t bend it, don’t laminate it, don’t put it in your back pocket. Store it somewhere flat and dark - a book, a box, a drawer you actually close. Heat kills it, cold warps it, humidity ruins it. Basically treat it like something you care about and it’ll last decades. Treat it like a receipt and it won’t.But wait, I want to display it!You’re right. The customer always is. Polaroid themselves recommend keeping it dark for the first 30 days while the chemicals finish doing whatever they’re doing under the surface. Realistically, nobody’s doing that. You’re going to prop it up on your desk the second it develops and that’s fine. Just get UV protective glass if you frame it.At the end of the day, it’s your photo. Do what you want with it.
Just remember to pay the piper.
I’m the piper, by the way.
